Italian Bread Wedges

Italian Bread Wedges

INGREDIENTS

2-1/2 c flour

1 tbsp instant yeast

1 c warm water

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt

METHODS

(1) Mix ingredients in a large bowl with a spoon. Knead dough slightly. Form into a ball. Cover & let rise 20 mins.

(2) Spread dough on greased cookie sheet.

(3) Set oven to 450*F

TOPPING

1/3 c Golden Italian Dressing

1/4 tsp salt

Dash of pepper

1/4 tsp thyme

1/4 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp garlic powder

METHOD (CONT…)

(4) Mix Golden Italian Dressing & spices (one can add a bit more dressing & spices). Add 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese. Spread on dough. Sprinkle on 1/2 c grated Mozzarella cheese. Let rise 15 mins.

(5) Bake at 450 about 10- 12 mins
