Sue Amundrud will be our guest speaker at our November 20 Luncheon.
Sue was born and raised in southern Ontario and completed her first degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, where she met her prairie-born husband. After moving to Saskatchewan, she completed a B.Ed (AD) at the University of Regina and an M.Ed from the University of Oregon. She spent 10 years as a high school teacher in multiple subject areas (rural Saskatchewan) followed by 3 years as a Superintendent of Education and 17 years with the Ministry of Education.

United Nations International Day of Older Persons: Community Resource Fair - October 1
United Nations International Day of Older Persons: Community Resource Fair
The Moose Jaw & District Senior Citizen Association and the Moose Jaw Chapter of the Saskatchewan Superannuated Teachers will be hosting a Community Resource Fair.
We are inviting all businesses and groups that offer services for Older Persons to partake in this Resource Fair.
Come check us out. There will be approximately 20 vendors who should be able to provide you with valuable information concerning services/activities that are available to the Older Persons in Moose Jaw and area.
This event will be held at The Eaton Centre – 510 Main St N, Moose Jaw and will run from 2:30 – 5:30.
There will be no cost to both exhibitors and to the public who wish to attend.
The Showcase will be opened with a performance by The Comfort Singers.
There is no registration, RSVP or sign up needed. Please come out and attend the event.

Hello and Welcome to our first Luncheon of the 2024-2025 season. We tend to run our programs simultaneously as school is in session. We are happy to have local artist Dave Pelletier as our speaker. His work has been exhibited in Saskatchewan and is in many private collections throughout Canada. Dave will share his stories and pictures via a PowerPoint presentation.

HELL with the BELL Breakfast at the MJ Wildlife Federation.
New and Old STS members are invited to celebrate the start of the school year with the HELL with the Bell Breakfast.

Court Whist Tournament
Moose Jaw Superannuated Teachers are hosting a Court Whist Tournament on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 7:00 PM – 9:00PM at the Masonic Hall. Moose Jaw STS members and spouses can register for free. Please pre-register by Saturday, June 8th.
You do not need a partner to play. Come try it out, it will be fun! Prizes will be given.

STS January Luncheon
Join us for a Roast Beef Dinner Luncheon on January 17 at 1030am. We will have a luncheon meeting, with a presentation by Dave Wentworth of Destination Whatever Travel. He will speak about his career from travel agent to travel agency owner, some of his travel adventures from around the world, and what’s trending for travellers in your demographic for 2024. He’ll be available to answer any questions you may have about travel.
Lunch will be served at 12pm noon. Catering from Charlotte’s.
