Spanish peanuts (salted with red skins on) is one of the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

Drumstick Cake

Frozen.  Easy to make.

Drumstick Cake

Start by lightly greasing a 9x13 pan.

First Layer:

  • ½ cup margarine or butter

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter (smooth)

  • 4 cups chocolate wafer crumbs

  • 1 cup chopped Spanish peanuts (salted with red skins on)

Melt margarine and peanut butter.  Mix everything together.

Set aside ½ cup for later use.

Press the rest firmly into prepared pan.

Second Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup peanut butter (smooth)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla

Beat cream cheese til smooth.

Add everything else.  Beat til smooth and creamy.

  • Fold in 4 ½ cups Cool Whip

  • Sprinkle ½ cup chopped peanuts on top.

Third Layer:

  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding

  • 3 cups milk

Beat well, until thick.

Spread over cream cheese layer.

Fourth Layer:

  • Spread over 2 cups Cool Whip.

Fifth Layer:

  • Sprinkle the ½ cup chocolate crumb mix that was set aside.

  • Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped peanuts.

  • Drizzle with caramel sundae syrup (and chocolate syrup, if you like both)

Freeze.

Cut into squares to serve.  Let sit on plate for a few minutes to soften slightly.
