Almond Bark Bars
Ingredients:
Graham wafers
1 1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 pkg sliced almonds or almond slivers (about 1 ½ cups)
1 ½ bags milk chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Oven on to 325.
2. Line a large cookie sheet (with raised edges) with foil, overlapping the edges.
Butter the foil lightly.
3. Place graham wafers on the sheet, joining as close as possible. Break in half if needed.
4. Sprinkle the almonds over the wafers.
5. Melt the butter and brown sugar. Pour over the wafers and nuts.
6. Bake in oven until it is bubbling. Watch carefully.
Remove quickly and sprinkle the chocolate chips over. Let set for about 5 minutes. (If needed,
put the pan back in the oven for a couple minutes til the chips are smooth and melted.)
7. Use a spatula and smooth the chocolate over top of everything.
8. Place in fridge til hardened, overnight or for a few hours.
9. Turn out and peel the foil off. Break into pieces.
